ok let me start off by explaining that tarot decks are like well an entity since they do have a spirit..
also tarot cards are like vaccums to the energies they are exposed to..

what you want to do to prevent them from getting all nasty with all sorts of energies is to wrap them up in a cloth (silk is great) and be sure that no light can get through... i prefer using either black blue or purple cloths for my decks.. on top of wraping them though i also like to put them in a box (one box for each deck) or some sort of container....

feel free to talk to your deck and build a relationship with it! dont worry about feeling silly.. there is a spirit in the deck and it will appreciate the communication Smile
