So... for the first time (that I can remember, anyhow) I am starting to see pictures.... but only in my meditations, eyes closed type thing. At first the were like... negative film images... dark and kind of just shapes, but then....!
I was asked to try a reading for practice. I decided that I would first meditate and see if anything came to me before pulling out my cards. So, I got comfy, got quiet.... and suddenly I saw an image of man -- in color, I could see his hair and eye color clearly. I described the man I saw to my "client" but it wasn't the person she was inquiring about.
Slightly disappointed, I let it go.
A few days later, she asked if the person I saw could've been her husband, because HE looks exactly like I described....
::jumps up and down in utter glee::
Also recently, I saw the very clear image of ... at first, one eye... then two... then the lips of a person... and then a whole face....! I don't know who it was, but it was neat.
The problem is though, that as soon as I realize that I am seeing something and recognize that, I sort of "pop out of it" and it goes away... any suggestions for "remaining in the moment" and not allowing my ego/concious mind to interfere so maybe I can get more of the story?
it takes alot of practice to not slip out of it.. what usually causes me to slip out of it is excitement of any kind... as long as i can stay mellow and calm i can stay in that state and keep recieving information... the more you practice this the more able you will be to stay in that state longer or go right back into the state if u get jumped out of it

^^ Thanks CV, I sure hope so, it seems like progress to me! Honestly, I was so happily suprised by it all -- and then to have it actually make sense! Yay!
