Recording or residual ghost.. When a person lives in a house or premises for a period of time, there is a build up of that person's energy in the home. If a traumatic event occurs to this person while in the house, this energy leaves an imprint that can somehow "replay" itself on and off at a later point in time. This gives the illusion of a human appearance ghost walking through the hallway or into a room etc..

Although this IS classed as a ghost, the entity is not conscious and aware of itself or anything around it. It is simply a build up of energy that could be classed the same as a hologram in terms of "realness".

Everything is made up of energy. As the old Einstein theory goes; energy cannot be destroyed but only converted into another form of energy. So like an audio or videotape, which is just oxidized and able to imprint an image, somehow the image of a past event has been oxidized and imprinted underneath what we see now. When the right conditions are present, one is able to see the natural video replay of a past situation.

We all vibrate at a certain level The ghostly blueprint of energy that imprints itself is also vibrating at a certain level, so this is the reason why some people can see these ghost imprints while others cannot; just a matter of a slightly out-of-tune vibration that would align the two. It just depends on what level we are vibrating. Think of it as an out-of-tune radio being tuned into the right station. Some people are just tuned in more than others. This doesn't have to be permanent either. We all change and can do things which alter our vibration level, such as meditating, opening chakras or just simple breathing techniques.

When someone living in a haunted house hears strange sounds from various rooms, such as moving furniture or voices/conversations, investigation often shows that there is nothing out of place or out of the ordinary. This is because what these people are hearing is a replay of an event from the past.
