MEDITATION FIRST: First start by sitting on the floor. Then close your eyes and visualize a particular color. Focus on the roundness of it and try to keep it in your mental view. If it fades or dissapears or you happen to lose focus just bring it back and start over then proceed to do the following:

(I have finally come across a system that actually works for me so I thought I would share this with you)


CONTACTING PLANET EARTH

(Earth Grounding: Connecting with earth, exchanging your energy with hers, and allowing your energy to be cleansed and restored)


Do this standing up!

Spread your feet about shoulder width apart and balance on them so the weight is evenly distributed on your heels and toes as well as feet and keep knees slightly bent. Gently rock back and forth a bit until you feel balanced.

Be aware of your breathing . As you breathe in, imagine a gentle surge of energy running from the top of your head to the tip of your tailbone. As you breathe out, imagine that energy is moving through the spine back up to the top of your head. As you do this energy will start to move up and down your spine. After you let the energy run up and down a few times start letting it go below your tailbone. As you inhale. Each time let it go lower, until it touches the floor. Then let it go deeper still until it touches the earth. Each time you exhale be aware of the energy rising to the top of your head. Then let it go deeper still, until it goes several inches into the earth beneath you. Practice doing this for a while, going into the earth and back to the top of your head with this small energy. Don’t push it. Just let it happen. This not only earths our energy but cleanses and brightens up your entire subtle energy. For the last breathe of your practice, think of the energy rising from the earth, up through your spine, and breathe it out of your mouth in a puff. Then bend over a bit, letting your arms hang loose and wiggle your shoulders Stand back up slowly. You should be able to feel your tail now. If you can’t just do a few energy-moving breaths to get your awareness of it refocused.


CENTERING

(Centering: Being focused in your own being, balanced within and moving in the world like a surfer well balanced on a wave)

Begin by sitting with your feet flat on the floor, or better yet on earth itself). Imagine that your inhaling through your naval,. letting the breath rise to your throat, and then exhaling through your naval. After a couple of minutes, begin to imagine that your inhaling through the soles of your feet, letting the breath rise through your pelvis, abdomen, and heart, and then letting it fall again, inhaling through the soles of your feet. Gradually
let the incoming breath rise to the top of your head, still being aware of it passing through your pelvis, abdomen, and heart as it travels each way. Breathe gently and naturally into and from the earth until you feel calm and peaceful.
