Hello all,
was talking to a friend (a very reliable source for information) of mine tonight and she let me know about a few things when it comes to mediumship...
she gets a bit scatterbrained so she jumped around alot in the conversation so i will do my best to keep it all 'flowing'...
one of the first things she told me is that true mediumship takes a long time to develop... often our guides do not let it happen... now the reason for this is that in true mediumship the spirit enters your body and since our brains are made to hold one spirit only, if the spirit were too stay too long it could do serious serious damage! the next thing she told me is that it is highly draining and overwhelming.. one must be VERY grounded for true mediumship...
another thing she said to me about the importance of this process happening slowly is that when we are open many many spirits can come to us and if we dont know how to turn it off it could be very overwhelming to us, and really interfere with our lives...
ok so another thing she said is that sometimes when a spirit enters your body to communicate, we can not always understand what they are saying.. she explained this to me as looking at someone and only seeing their lips move rather then actually hearing it.. she said that it often takes much practice to be able to recieve their messages clearly.. so again that was another reason she said it takes a long time to develop...
if i can think of any of the other things she told me i will be sure to post them as well..
