Please Note: Most people have the idea that a ghost is a human-looking apparition floating and walking around a house. Although this can be true, it is also the most rare form a ghost will take.

The word ghost is a very bland word when discussing the other side because there are so many things that a ghost could actually be. Try thinking about it like this; there are many different species of animals on our earth, each with different names and characteristics etc., like a nice friendly pussycat or a great white man-eating shark. It would be very vague if we called every animal just plain old "Animal". This is the same for the spirit world. Ghosts can be a number of things such as a simple build-up of energy in the corner of the room or an angry poltergeist throwing chairs down the staircase.

Some people we have investigated have come to enjoy being haunted and hold it close to their heart that what they experienced was a rare and life-changing phenomenon. Some people have even come to physically love the entity that has attached itself to them and find it hard to let it go. When a person crosses over, they will not interact on the level of haunting a house.

Lets go back a little and summarise what has just been discussed. When a house is haunted with all the characteristic phenomena such as voices, footsteps, apparitions and moving furniture etc., this could be a number of things such as what’s called an earthbound human spirit that was once alive, or at least something posing as an earthbound entity. We all vibrate on a certain level and it is the same for ghosts. An earthbound ghost is vibrating on an extremely low level and thus co-existing in our world, which makes the house haunted. They are earthbound because of some unfinished business or perhaps fear of what will become of them when they cross, but who really knows?

When a house is not haunted, but the owner has some kind of one-off supernatural experience that has helped save his life or something similar, this is caused by a spiritual entity that is vibrating on a high level. They have crossed over and now have evolved. They don't need to open and shut doors or call out your name because they aren't earthbound or in limbo anymore. They know who and what they are and are no longer confused.

On the other side of the coin…

If you are experiencing any threatening or unwelcome supernatural phenomenon, the best thing you can do is try to remove the presence rather then living with it. You must first be very sure that you indeed have a ghost living with you, otherwise that drafty cold spot next to the open window could make you mentally sick from fear and stress. Always look for the natural explanation before the supernatural one, and more often than not you will find a natural cause for the concern that you may be having. But of course if you see a full bodied ghost float past you then its safe to rule out a natural explanation.

You should call in somebody who is familiar with this field of work and who has all the right and necessary tools for locating the ghost. Once it's fact that you have an unwelcome entity in your home, please try to avoid doing the following, as this seems to enhance the activity that you may be experiencing:

Say to the ghost "OK, you can stay here as long as you don't scare me anymore".
Every time you come home or wake up, run around the house and check that everything is OK and normal.
Try to contact the ghost using an ouija board.
Never invite a ghost to stay with you! Once you invite a ghost to stay in your home, it's much harder to remove it altogether and some ghosts aren’t what they seem to be. Unwelcome ghosts are absolutely not meant to live with us in our homes and I feel they need to be removed as soon as possible before they start getting comfortable and worse yet, attached to yourself or someone else in your family. Some ghosts will follow you wherever you move, so the less you have to do with them, the better.

Ghosts also love to play tricks and pranks on people, such as stealing objects from your home (Keys/TV-Remotes/Jewelry) and then returning them to a place that the ghost knows you've already searched 100 times over. So the more you make a big deal about it, the more the ghost will do it, and if you are running around the house looking for anything out of place etc., then this is giving the ghost *recognition and you may find the supernatural activity will increase to double or more. But if you know things are out of place, try not to make a big deal about it and I can promise you that the activity should die down to a much lower level.

IMOP, I feel the author of the above post is a bit vague on ghosts.
I quote" try to contact the ghost by using an ouija board. then the next line
Never invite a ghost to stay with you" this is contridictory. By using the board you have already invited the unwanted.

I would strongly advise staying away from ouija boards. Please.

LOL!!!

I'm in agreement with you and I know of others who have messed with these boards and the outcome was not a good one. On the the flipside many have had positive experiences so it's a risk either way.

I also agree that one should not request that a spirit stay with them although many people say there is no harm in having them hang around if they are not hurting anyone or bothersome. I personally feel by allowing them to stay this only hinders their own personal spiritual development and it does no good for the people involved since spirits use our energy.

CV I will admit having ghosts living with you can be energy draining. And I am not sure if I mentioned this already, however I do have 7 with me
all the time. They are not always the same 7. I came up with a method
because I was being bombarded dailey. So I created a door and I asked
the spirits to please wait behind the door untill I let one of you in. They
seek me out needing help or to relay messages. one is my own dad, he is
a go between. he comes and goes but mostly comes to bring a spirit across. And I have a child named Sarah, she first appeared to my talented
clairvoyant grandaughter 6 years ago. You see, Sarah was killed in a plane crash in Florida in the 70's and she say's she can not find her parents Crying or Very sad

. The Airlines will not give me the passanger manifest because I am not family. And when I told the head supervisor who I was and why I was inquiring. he laughed at me. I have sent Sarah into the beautiful light only to have her return again and again. My daughter is researching the name of McMillen using different spellings in case Sarah's parents did not die in the crash. This is only one of my many on going endevors and I hope to get it resolved soon so Sarah can move on. And you are asking your self have I attempted to communicate with her parents. Yes, without
success. which leaves me to think they are alive. and locating them is next to impossible. And I believe nothing is impossible.
