Hi All!
First thing...I see you've done some upgrades to the site! It looks wonderful!!
I'm sorry I haven't been able to attend any classes - my hubby went into the hospital and then I've drown myself in work when I'm not home.
Second.. I had a question for anyone who may have some insight... I keep dreaming about water.. oceans, ponds, lakes. I'm always attempting to walk over it or get away from it or walk on ice or on a pier.
Now... I'm not scared of the water however I am terrified of drowning. I've always assumed it was b/c I drown in a past life.
Anyway... any idea's as to what it means when someone continually dreams of water?
Oh! And the water is always black and murky!
Blessings
Mary

Mary,
water in dreams often represents out subcouncious, emotions, or change.. it does sound more like emotions to me though.. has this started around the time your hubby went to the hospital?

Hello SweetSurrender!
I agree with Myth that it looks as if you're dealing with emotions and that's what the water represents.
The fact that you're trying to walk over it or get away from the water would indicate emotions that you don't want to deal with.
The ice would represent the fact that at times it's hard for you to avoid these emotions or fear you will accidentally slip into them.
The pier is a way around or above them.
The fact that the water is always black and murky either represents emotions that you feel are dark/bad (this could be they are like anger or guilt or just normal emotions that you don't like to feel) OR emotions that you don't understand or can't see your way through OR any combination of all of these ... lol
Are your dreams like reoccuring dreams? Exactly or almost the same theme to all of them? Is there anything else that is common in these dreams? If so this could be dealing with one particular issue or emotion.
Do they only occur after very emotional times in your life? If so, this could be your way of working through the different ways you've felt during during different emotional times.
I hope this helps you ...

i think another aspect of the ice could indicate that your emotions may be 'frozen' in the aspect that they are still there but you may have blocked them to the point where you are not capable of feeling them at this time..

Hiya's
Thank you so much for your replies!
Actually I repress alot of my emotions however at this time there's nothing that I can think of that I'm holding in other than the fact that my hubby's chewing drives me insane *laughs*
It doesn't seem re-occuring every dream is different but the thing that's the same is the feeling I get when I am near the water or look down at it.. it's that feeling of drowning I get when I am in deep water.... I think everyone gets this feeling.. when your swimming in deep water and it's around your neck and your feet aren't touching anything? I can't explain it... But that is the feeling I get... it almost takes my breath away.
Oh and my hubby is in all of them.. sometimes he's going with me and then disappears and sometimes I'm trying to get to him and one particular one he was trying to kill me and I was trying to run away from him and decided I would run onto a beach and there were massive ships with the big black propellers washed up on the beach where I was running.
I can't say that I've had these sorts of dreams before(revolving around murky water) however I do dream ~very~ vividly.
It all started after he got out of the hospital but I don't know exactly when.. I know it wasn't directly after he got out of the hopital.
I wish I could read myself!!
Blessings

Thank you and I hope you got a chance to look at the new stuff on the site!
Many great changes here....
In this dream you avoided water and in a waken state you also avoid it so clearly there is a connection. I think there is a recurring element in your life that needs to change. The fact that it's connected to water represents emotion, fear, insecurities, and the need for purifying but of course it is all up to interpretation. There could also be a past life connection influencing your dreams and and finally a need to put closure on unfinished business and it's being brought to your awareness.
I think it's a dark moment in your life that needs to be brought to the light.

It's funny that you all are picking up on all this.
To make a ~very~ long story short, there is indeed something in my past that I have frozen deep in the dark depths of my soul that happened not all that long ago.
I lived a year in a very dark place where I could think of nothing but that issue every moment of every day. Now that I've finally put it to rest and moved on... it seems to be coming back to haunt me
I will likely never get complete resolve however I'm content with the amount of resolve I've come to thus far.. so I can't understand why it's coming back.
I appreciate all of your thoughts and comments very much. Should anyone want a reading,, please let me know.
I have found I do much better with reading someone if I have a picture of them. I just need to see it once so I can link myself into them.
Blessings,
Mary

Mary,
if it is only manifesting itself in your dreams thats a good sign! often our dreams will help us heal the things we do not know how or can not heal on our own (on a councious level at least) so perhaps that is why you are having these dreams.. to clean out your system completely u will know thats what this is if the dreams tend to get a little bit better in nature each time

"I think there's a dark moment in your life that needs to be brought to the light".CV
The fact that you said something dark happened a long time ago but it's resurfacing means you need to bring closure on this by letting go.
I have found as silly as this may sound the easiest way to do this is to write down you fears on a piece of paper, get a couldron or pot and say just before you burn it "I no longer needs these fears or thoughts. They no longer serve me and I'm removing them from my life" Then burn the paper and do this until you feel those thoughts are gone for good. I have done this and it worked. It took a few tries over a short period of time but I don't have those fears or thoughts anymore.
